  • Objectives
The ADDUPT project is dedicated to achieving several key objectives, all aimed at transforming vocational education and training (VET) in the Western Balkans to better meet the needs of the green sector. Our focus is on capacity building, improving the quality of VET, and enhancing employability. Here is a clear outline of what we aim to achieve:

    1. Capacity Building

Enhance VET Organizations: Strengthen the ability of VET institutions in the Western Balkans to deliver high-quality, relevant training programs that align with the requirements of the green sector. Develop Digital Skills: Equip VET trainers and staff with the skills needed to create and implement digital microlearning resources, facilitating a modern and flexible learning environment. Support Twin Transition: Assist VET institutes in navigating the twin transition towards a green and digital economy, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet emerging industry needs.

    2. Improving VET Quality

Link VET with the Green Sector: Foster a stronger connection between vocational education and the green sector, ensuring that training programs are directly aligned with the current and future demands of the green industry. Provide Comprehensive Training Resources: Develop and distribute a wide range of resources, including operational frameworks, handbooks, and guidelines, to help VET providers enhance their curricula and teaching methods. Implement Effective Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs that focus on the creation of digital microlearning resources, enhancing the overall quality of VET education and making it more accessible and impactful.

    3. Enhancing Employability

Address Skills Mismatching: Ensure that the skills and knowledge provided by VET institutions match the needs of the green sector, thereby improving the employability of VET graduates. Increase Job Readiness: Enhance the readiness of learners for employment in the green sector by providing them with the specific skills and competencies required by the industry. Promote Sustainable Employment: Support the development of a sustainable job market in the Western Balkans by aligning VET outcomes with the growth and demands of the green sector.
